My favourite way to use nettles is adding them to a mix of herbs and leaving to steep for a few days in olive oil with garlic and chilli. Drizzle the oil on salads, veg or meat to help diversify your diet.
Nettles are considered to be a rich source of minerals. Simply add a tablespoon to soups, stews or smoothies.
Alternatively you can stir a teaspoon into some hot water and enjoy as a herbal tea.
You can use this in exactly the same way as you would use matcha green tea. If you need an extra boost, add a teaspoon of honey and be ready to discover powers you didn’t know you had :)
