Yarrow

Yarrow

Supplied by Forager Ltd

Use sparingly - Yarrow is a beautiful and quite strong herb - so a tiny bit goes a long way.

Sprinkle a few flowers onto salads, to garnish and add flavour, use as a culinary herb or make a rejuvenating brew. Just a pinch of flowers is needed for making a brew.

Shake each head outside on the garden before use, to remove any little bugs :)

Suggested uses:

Wash well before use

Pinch a few flowers off and sprinkle onto salads or to garnish dishes.

Add 500-600ml boiling water to one flower head in a teapot and allow to brew for a few minutes to make a tea (the same flower head can be re-used until the flavour has gone)

Use as a culinary herb, pairs well with (or can be used instead of) thyme, rosemary and onions. Works well with meat, fermented beans, tomato based sauces and fresh salads.
