Angelica, Burdock, Dandelion and Chicory roots for brewing a rich warming winter root tea to nourish and warm you and your microbiome.
Add one level teaspoon to 200ml of water and boil for 5-10mins in a saucepan on the hob. Sweeten to taste.
To make this brew even more warming and restorative, add a slice of fresh ginger/turmeric and lemon/orange/grapefruit at the same time as you add your roots.
For those feeling brave enough, add a pinch of chilli powder/flakes and light your inner fire to allow you to better enjoy the last cold, crisp days of winter.
