Eco-friendly packaging.

We aim to ensure that all our packaging is compostable, biodegradable or recyclable. There is also the option for you to return the freeze packs in the post to us which we will disinfect and re-use the following month. Please e-mail for postal address.

We are on the waiting list to order compostable freeze packs, being launched soon. But for now we have used the most planet friendly options we can find, wih non-toxic gels and recyclable plastic covers.

We are doing our best to minimise our use of plastics wherever possible and realise that many of the alternatives can also cause environmental problems. 

For the main body of vegetables, we use a green 'approved for food contact' compostable bags that are made from non-GMO corn fibre that is a waste by-product, as well as brown paper packaging. Where possible we have not placed our produce in packaging at all. 

The cardboard box is from sustainable sources and can be composted or recycled with other cardboard.
