A herbaceous plant related to rhubarb, sorrel, and spinach, a member of the Oxalidaceae family.

Oca leaves are commonly used in salads and are favoured for their tangy, citrus flavour.

Avoid if you suffer with kidney stones or have to follow a low oxalate diet.

Suggested use:

Use just a few leaves to add a tangy flavour to salads.
